Welcome to the Academic Learning Centre (ALC) tutoring platform! To decide which schedule to use for your appointment, see the information below. 

Content and Study Skills Schedule:  Course content tutoring; EAL Support; Study skills

Undergraduate Writing Schedule:  Undergraduate writing

Graduate Writing & Study Skills Schedule:  Graduate writing; Bannatyne campus in-person tutoring. 

CBWT Writing Schedules:  Writing tutoring in specific courses with integrated writing tutors. Please find the designated schedule for your course by looking for “CBWT” and your course number (e.g., CBWT – HIST 1200).

Important information:

Appointment limits: Please note that you are limited to a maximum of 2 appointments per week.

Take-home tests and exams: Writing tutors need your instructor’s written permission before they can work with you on a take-home test or exam.

Email address: Students must use their UM or ICM email address to register and log in to this appointment system.

For help: Send an email to academic_learning@umanitoba.ca. The ALC will respond to emails as soon as possible during office hours: 8:30 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm- 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
