Number of Appointments Per Week

Students are welcome to 1 hour of tutoring services a week.  This can be either two 30 minute appointments in the Elizabeth Dafoe, Management, or Science schedules - OR - 1 hour in the Online Writing Tutor schedule.

Students must use their UM email address to register and login to WCOnline.

Students who have difficulty registering or booking appointments should email or visit the Writing Tutor area on the main floor of the Elizabeth Dafoe Library between 9am and 4pm Monday - Friday.

Can tutors work on take-home tests and exams with students?

Writing tutors need your professor's written permission to work with you on take-home tests or exams. Check your syllabus and assignment guidelines for this permission. If permission hasn't been given on these documents, a note from your professor is necessary.

Writing tutors cannot meet with students preparing for the Pharmacy Entrance Essay Exam.
